Operation Hydration 2012 is the 2nd annual USO water drive for AT&T Veterans DFW Chapter and 1st annual drive for Austin Chapter. Last year we collected 1,280 cases of water and $8,250 for USO DFW Airport. This year we blew those numbers away by collecting 3,700 cases of water and over $13,500 for USO Fort Hood Killeen, TX.

KXAN-TV NBC Austin 'Operation Hydration' gives H2O to USO Also collecting at Dell Diamond ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - They call it “Operation Hydration.” Friday, members of the University of Texas Austin Student Veterans Association set up camp outside the Frank Erwin Center. They braved the heat to collect bottled water so active duty soldiers will remain hydrated.
We were just at the Round Rock Express game last night for “Fans from Fans” night (see blog post below). Tonight, the Express is teaming with AT&T Veterans of Austin, Girl Scouts Council of Texas, and The Home Depot for “Operation Hydration 2012,” an effort to collect bottled water for soldiers.

Folks gathered at parking lot 108 at the Frank Erwin Center from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to drop off bottled water as a part of "Operation Hydration 2012" which is collecting bottled water all over the state.

UT Student Veteran Association is sponsoring “Operation Hydration 2012” with support from the AT&T Veterans of Austin and The Home Depot to invite the public to help collect bottled water for Fort Hood troops in Killeen.
The DFW AT&T veterans are sponsoring “Operation Hydration 2012” July 27 at Richardson City Hall with a goal of collecting 2,500 cases of water that will be sent to the United Service Organizations (USO) at Fort Hood in Killeen.
Operation Hydration 2011 was such a HUGE SUCCESS last year that USO Fort Hood has asked us for help. You are known for what you have accomplished and the impact made.
Operation Hydration 2012 will kick off June 18 and run through July 27, 2012. We will be working with AT&T Supply Logistics to have the water delivered to USO Fort Hood Killeen, TX on July 28, 2012.
